Good Friday...

Yesterday Ali told us she wanted to play outside, she walked to our front door and asked, "side? side?" So Daddy, Ali, and Maggie went out and played.

Passover!

On Maundy-Thursday we celebrated "The Last Supper: A Seder Passover Celebration" with about fifty others from our church. It was a lot of fun!
Ali loved all the food, even the gefilte fish.

Daddy enjoying some matzah ball soup - yummy!

The plate of symbolic foods.

Our Little Beauty...

All by herself, Ali got on her boots, Daddy's toque, and one of Daddy's gloves, walked over and said, "bye-bye."

Mommy was trying to change the diaper of a little naked girl, but that little girl was more interested in getting under the covers and snuggling.

Ali heard Maggie barking outside and ran over to the window to say hi.

Ho-ckey video

Press Play to hear Ali's first attempt at saying hockey at her very first hockey game. She can say it much better now, but the video was still too cute to not post.

Seadogs Hockey!

Ali went to her first hockey game tonight, and she LOVED it!! She learned how to say 'Hockey' and cheer. She was fascinated by all of the other fans too.

Running through the aisles with Daddy before the crowd arrived.
Watching the players get ready for the game.

And trying a sip of daddy's ICEE... she loved the taste, but had the most hilarious reaction to each sip she took. It's neat to think of what that experience would be like for the first time...

Although the Seadogs lost, we had a great family night out!

Fun Times...

Ali snuggling with Pooh Bear on Mommy's lap
And enjoying her very first bubble bath!
Going for a walk on her trike!

Mommy's March Break

Wow - this week flew by! Mommy had March Break so she was able to spend the entire week home with Ali and she loved it! Ali has grown and changed so much lately, she's learning a handful of new words every day. It is so much fun being a part of that.
Ali also had her 18 month check up and is growing growing growing. Mommy can't believe that she's 29 pounds (but now understands why it's getting hard to carry her for long periods of time along with the pregnant belly!)
Daddy's point of view for the last few months.... Mommy's getting close to being done her Masters though!
Ali has become a big helper - she LOVES to help cook or wash dishes

And play with the spices... definitely her daddy's little girl!

Ali and mommy reading

One morning, we found Ali in her crib completely naked, no diaper or pj's. That afternoon when we went in to get her from her nap, we found that our little nun had got stuck trying to get her top off. What a silly little girl!

Ali, having fun with Daddy while brushing her teeth

Two of a kind!

Ali, helping mommy unload the dryer...

And she even carried this laundry basket all the way from Mommy's room to the laundry!! What a big girl!

Ali and mommy's Lego towers

Ali building her Lego - she blows us away!

After a nice 'spring' walk around the block, Ali explored the deck...

...and played with Maggie...

... then rediscovered how difficult it is to walk through the yard in the snow!

Going for a walk with Mommy and Daddy...

We enjoyed some beautiful weather this week... it was so nice to get outside together and have some fun. She has sure grown up over the winter!

Our beautiful little goof-ball

She was having SO much fun eating her peaches! I wish you could hear the giggle that went along with this smile :)
