We had a few great days of weather this week, and Ali has been having a great time playing with her new friends!

A great weekend

On Saturday it was a little foggy on our side, so we went 'uptown' to see some of the buskers festival... we didn't actually watch too much because the crowds were too big for a stroller, but we enjoyed walking around and had a great lunch!

It was so busy because of all of the people from the cruise ship.
On Sunday Daddy cut the grass and mommy blew up Ali's pool... boy did she have fun once she got in! It was so hot and beautiful that she didn't care that the water was freezing!

Ali has found a new walking toy -- it's way more fun to walk around the house than to sit down and ride :)

Rockwood Park

We also checked out Rockwood Park... It's a little confusing to get into (we drove around the entire park before we were able to find an entrance that wasn't for the golf course or the zoo) but once we got there it was beautiful!

Some pretty cool roots... looks like it should be out of one of those movies that the roots start moving and the tree comes towards you

Irving Nature Park

We got fabulous weather last Friday afternoon to enjoy our first Irving Nature Park experience. We just chose the shortest hiking trail, because we didn't know what to expect, but now we can't wait to go back and check out each one. We had a blast (and we were stalked by a scary squirrel)
